a perfect woodland retreat
spacious room comfortable bed artful presentation
the room was spacious and beautifully appointed the bed was comfortable ensuring a restful sleep i appreciated the attention to detail. the staff were very helpful and kind i felt very welcome. the food was really good the presentation was artful and the taste was delicious.
the wi-fi signal in my room was a little weak but it wasn't a big issue

serene atmosphere attentive staff
The lodge gardens extend directly into the new forest. This created a very serene atmosphere! the staff worked together well, they ensured guests were taken care of very well. I appreciated that. the food tasted delicious, i would visit again purely for dining.
The building is in need of a spruce up. The interior felt a bit dated.

The location provided direct access to the forest for lovely walks. I appreciated the availability of free parking, a definite plus. The staff were very helpful. The food was AMAZING!!!

dog friendly atmosphere comfortable room friendly staff soft bed old bathroom
the hotel is very dog friendly , as it seemed dogs were welcome. my room was nice and neat. the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
the bed was too soft , so it wasn't comfortable. the shower was horrible , i didn't want to use it.
