a wonderful getaway
friendly staff delicious meal fine views spacious room
The staff were friendly. They always had big smiles. my wife and i booked massages, and it was really relaxing. the evening meal at the brasserie was delicious!!! the room had fine views. It was big enough to live in.
the room was a bit cold, but the receptionist kindly provided a fan heater.

The spa had great facilities. The quiet atmosphere was very relaxing. breakfast included a full english option. It was especially good. parking was plentiful, so finding a space was easy. That was important to me.

A Romantic Lakeside Escape
authentic feel helpful staff
The room was excellent. It featured good space and a very nice bathroom with amazing products. The hotel had a very authentic and classy feel, located on beautiful grounds. I also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff.
The outdoor grounds needed some attention. I noticed dead plants in the hanging baskets and weeds in the flower beds needing maintenance.

Breakfast included a great choice. Alternatives of freshly cooked porridge and eggs Benedict and Royal were available. The dinner in the Brasserie offered lovely views. Endless pots of tea.

comfortable bed beautiful grounds limited menu overpriced feeling
The room bathroom was very nice and have a super comfortable bed. The spa access was nice too and the products are amazing. The overall feel is nice, authentic and classy and set on beautiful grounds. I find the staff friendly and helpful.
The rooms are dated and I thought the lunch and dinner menu was limited. I think it was a bit overpriced overall. I expected more from a hotel of this supposed class.
