Excellent Tavern Experience
extra snacksfriendly staffmissing elevator
I found extra snacks in the room. The restaurant had amazing food and friendly staff. The location is convenient, within 5 minutes from the cruise port. The staff were very helpful and made the English breakfast superb.
I noticed the absence of an elevator. This meant navigating many stairs. luggage could be stored near check-in within a separate room.
Facilities
9/10
The room had air conditioning. Coffee and tea making facilities were available with some treats. The room was recently refurbished and I could tell it was really clean.
Service
10/10
The staff at the tavern were friendly. The reception staff advised us about parking, explaining the rebooking process via phone. I found the staff very polite in the pub and restaurant.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast included varied continental options and a cooked breakfast. The breakfast used quality ingredients. I considered the prices for dinner reasonable, and the quality was good.
the staff were helpful. our breakfast included a hot full english option. the room had tea and coffee. the location allowed us to easily walk to nearby attractions.
the music from nearby bars was loud late into the night. it was difficult to sleep due to the noise. i found the bed mattress to be too soft and not supportive enough. the stairs were steep.

The street below was SO noisy, I had difficulty sleeping. It was really disturbing! The room furniture felt a little OLD, it did not help create a relaxing atmosphere. I think some updates are necessary. The noise and the condition of the furniture really impacted my experience. It.
