The location felt perfect. I discovered it centered around a lovely cobbled street, one that transported you back in time, the architecture was so lovely. The rooms felt inviting, with a special touch on the decor reflecting the building's old-world appeal. I enjoyed the trust policy at the bar. It added to the feeling of a small community.
I noted dust on the highest bookshelf in the room, and it was a minor detail that could use more attention.

celebrating a special occasion here was nice. the hotel is olde school with fabulous rooms.
The stairs were a bit narrow, typical of a 16th-century building. It's something to note for those with mobility issues, though it did not affect my visit much.

The breakfast included many choices, expertly prepared and tasted delicious. The location was perfect. The heart of town was steps away. The hotel also offered convenient parking nearby, which I found very useful for exploring.
The shower was cramped and not ideally placed. the water pressure was noticeably weak. I understand it is a historic building, but this is an area that could benefit from improvements.
