4-star brutalist-inspired hotel in Brussels

Location

The hotel's location offers a blend of urban exploration and cultural immersion. Guests can experience local artisans and nearby attractions, enriching their stay within the city.

Rooms

The hotel boasts rooms designed by Belgian artist Lionel Jadot, featuring raw materials such as brick, concrete, and plywood. Clever sleeping arrangements cater to various needs, with options including one double bed and two single beds in some rooms. Large windows and blackout curtains contribute to comfort and privacy.

Dining

Kaiju, the on-site restaurant, serves pan-Asian dishes influenced by multiple traditions, creating a culinary journey from Beijing to Mumbai. The dining experience includes shareable plates and an extensive cocktail list, imitating the lively atmosphere of a street food market. Guests can easily nourish themselves on delightful dishes without leaving the hotel.

“Jam Brussels impresses with its blend of raw, brutalist design and curated comfort, particularly the Atsukan wellness area with those inviting wooden bathtubs; it's a place aiming for both aesthetic impact and relaxation. The rooftop bar certainly offers views, and the location puts you within reach of Saint-Gilles' local pulse- though I would carefully check recent reports on room conditions to ensure your stay aligns with the hotel's visual promise.”

clean room private parking convenient location uncomfortable mattress hip pain broken lift
I found a great bar on the building's 7th floor. The location is very convenient. I appreciated the clean room I had . I also appreciated the private parking.
The mattresses were super uncomfortable . I woke up with hip pain because of it. I did not rest well at all. The lift was not working most of the time.

underwhelming stay due to noise and lacking amenities

bar noise missing toiletries
the noise from the bar above was quite bothersome. i could clearly hear music and conversations late into the night, difficult to sleep. the rooftop bar required reservations for hotel guests. this felt inconvenient as i expected easier access as a resident. also, the promised toiletries were missing. i had to request them from the front desk.
