Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Innside By Melia Newcastle is highly praised for its modern and spacious rooms, often featuring extra-large, comfortable beds and complimentary soft drinks. Many guests appreciate the hotel's prime location on the riverfront, providing lovely river and bridge views, and its proximity to attractions within walking distance. While some have noted the basic shower products or the budget hairdryer, the overall experience, including the on-site Gino D'Acampo restaurant and the excellent breakfast buffet, contributes to a very reasonable price for value.

the room was immaculate with free soft drinks. water was also free in the fridge. i requested a room on a high floor before i checked in and they gave us a room on the top floor. breakfast was amazing with much choice and even omelettes cooked to your liking!!!
the floors were dirty. the hand wash soap seemed watered down. the pillows and bed weren't comfortable at all.

the room was super clean. our view on the 6th floor was lovely! the pastries were especially delicious. i already can't wait to book my next stay!
we didn't sleep very well because the light in the toilet is automatic, so if you need the toilet during the night, you're met with a glaringly bright light! (it's quite annoying). this meant we could also not have the air con on, and the room ended up very hot and stuffy. tip, £30 seems steep for 2 breakfasts, so we went to the wetherspoons next door and paid less than half the price!

the cleaning staff missed our room service one day, despite us being out for four hours.
