Hotel Gat Rossio enjoys a superb location, right in the city center and just a couple of blocks from Rossio Square, the Metro, and train stations, making it easy to reach all parts of the city. Many guests find the rooms spacious, modern, and clean, with great shelving, while others mention they can be a bit small. Breakfast is often described as very nice and abundant, and while weekends can get a bit rowdy, closing the windows usually solves the issue.

convenient stay near rossio square

public transport helpful staff clean linens
I was very pleased with the proximity to public transport. The staff demonstrated helpfulness in navigating the city. I especially valued their directions. I appreciated the cleanliness and neatness throughout the hotel, including the thoroughly cleaned rooms and fresh linens.
My room faced the street, and i found the outside noise to be quite disruptive during the night. Good sleep was difficult.

The hotel is close to a park and the city center. Many shops surround it. A terrace provided a space for relaxation? it Was nice.

missing kettle incorrect breakfast cost
My room lacked a kettle for making tea. breakfast cost fifteen euro, a discrepancy from the quoted twelve. This was frustrating. i kept being asked about an airport transfer at thirty dollars when a taxi cost only thirteen a block away, which the staff claimed they didn't know.

Okay Location, Some Shortcomings

small room insufficient amenities
The hotel's location was acceptable, very close to Rossio Square. I didn't hear any street noise in my room.
The room was much smaller than expected. The green carpet seemed old and not well maintained. I found the single product for shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner insufficient.
