check-in was quick. a guest relations team member escorted me to my room to explain available features. the bathroom included very good toiletries from the damana brand. slippers and robes were provided.

The room was spacious and well kept. I found the bed to be quite comfortable. The tea and coffee amenities were a plus. The bathroom included Damana brand toiletries, so I did not have to use my own items.

Bairro Alto was under 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The walk is a little uphill at times though. The sightseeing bus location was a short ten-minute walk. Ubers were cheap and easy to find.

The hotel offers a number of restaurants. A garden rooftop bar offered views of the city. I enjoyed drinks on the twelfth-floor bar.

The hotel provides a swimming pool, and it also offers spa facilities. I did use these after a long day of walking. The rooftop bar provided nice views of the city, but it was reserved for a party one night.

clean foyer modern amenities excellent breakfast dim lighting dusty bathroom soft pillows
i was greeted curbside very late. the foyer was excellent and clean. my room was comfortable with up to date amenities. the breakfast had many options.
The lighting was dimmed everywhere. the bathroom had dust. the pillows were very soft. I had to use three.
