colonial charm by the sea

i booked a sea view room and enjoyed it the hotel has a distinct colonial style with multiple restaurants and bars you can sit right at the waterfront and have a gin and tonic or take a dip in the large swimming pool. the pool was close to the room i could swim in the sea and enjoy the sun. the bar was perfect at the waterfront.

the room was a bit noisy because of traffic and music played until midnight. the old thin windows did not seal correctly, letting in some sound. cocktails had little alcohol, and beers were not filled to the top.

customer service was given from the doorman to the duty manager the staff was attentive towards customer needs and helped with all requests making it easy to navigate all that the hotel had to offer.

i found the food delicious. There was plenty of variety and everything seemed fresh. the environment felt calm and elegant. it was full of charm.

during my stay, the two outside hotel bars played loud music late into the night. it made it difficult to sleep before midnight. the hotel gave a complimentary bottle of wine to one guest instead of turning the music down.

the breakfast had a wonderful spread and the staff was attentive. akita deshan from guest service helped with forwarding hotel i left. the room was super clean and comfy too.

the loud music from outside bars continued late at night, which did make sleeping difficult. i wish the music was turned down earlier.
