The heated outdoor pool was definitely a highlight. I appreciated the convenience of ordering drinks via the website. The staff promptly delivered them. The restaurant provided high quality food. I liked the swings outside after dinner. It was very british.

beautiful grounds relaxing vibe polite staff
the hotel grounds are beautiful with relaxing vibes. the swing at the garden is a must, the view is indeed gorgeous! the staff are wonderful, polite, and helpful. i especially thank grace and john at the reception.
the coffees were overpriced and tasted cheap, slightly disappointing.

The upgrade to a 15th-century suite was a treat. The room had ample space. The grounds presented valley views that were beautiful. The service remained attentive throughout our stay. I found some great pubs just down from the hotel.
The professionalism I saw at reception didn't quite align with the hotel's expensive price.

A Lovely Stay in a Historical Setting
valley views private patio
The building and grounds offer beautiful views. I particularly enjoyed the large outdoor private patio area (it was perfect for morning coffee). The hotel is close to some great pubs, a nice bonus. The food at the hotel was very good for breakfast.

The room was clean, spacious and had everything i needed. the restaurant offered a delicious dinner and a lovely breakfast. staff were attentive. the whole place looks like a fairytale. The grand hall was especially enjoyable.

The spa is tiny. It can feel cramped when more than a few guests are using it! the gym has treadmills and stationary bikes. the hotel also features a heated outdoor swimming pool.
