“Old Mill Hotel & Lodge has a unique setting on the River Avon, and I'm intrigued by its history as a former flour mill. The waterwheel restaurant and gardens add to its appeal, but I would suggest travellers confirm the room type and location to ensure satisfaction. While the location is convenient for exploring Bath, some aspects of the lodge accommodations appear inconsistent with the hotel's overall promise.”

mixed experience due to room issues

small chalet excessive parking fee
the staff were helpful when i asked about transport options during roadworks.
i booked a room through the website but was placed in a small, noisy chalet in the car park upon arrival. the room was so cramped i had to squeeze past the bed to reach the toilet. the £10 overnight parking fee felt excessive especially since the location is at the bottom of a steep hill near a toll bridge.
