“Dream Hotel Amsterdam sits within a 17th-century building in a UNESCO World Heritage site, an undeniably charming start; rooms have a distinctive, minimalist aesthetic, and the location puts you within walking distance of major sights. That said, some rooms may come up short in terms of space and features, which may not justify the price for some travelers. the location was quite central. i could easily reach main attractions. the staff were helpful when i needed directions. my room also had air conditioning, a nice feature during warmer days.
the stairs were quite steep. i had some difficulty carrying my luggage up to the room. there was also significant noise from the street outside. i found it hard to sleep some nights without earplugs. the bathroom was quite small, especially the sink area.

charmed by this central gem

central locationearly check-inhelpful staffgreat recommendations
I was very charmed by the central location. It was close to everything i wanted to do. i got early check-in at 12pm without any extra fee and i could leave my luggage there before and after check-in, this helped me a lot. the staff was friendly. They gave us great recommendations.
I found that the air freshener was heavily sprayed. It seemed like a whole bottle was sprayed, and it was sprayed directly onto the walls, though the receptionist confirmed it.
Rooms
9/10
the room featured minimal decoration and was very clean. it included all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay, though the original building details meant watching out for beams.
Facilities
8/10
the reception was available 24 hours a day, a real bonus. the hotel offered luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out.
Dining
10/10
There was a famous korean bbq restaurant right in front of the hotel. It offered very delicious options. many bars, restaurants, and clubs were located right beside the hotel, so there were plenty of options, really!
Service
10/10
The service was excellent. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. they provided assistance in navigating the city and offered great recommendations for local attractions, and i appreciated that a lot.
