i stayed for a pre-flight overnight. i found the cab to the airport cost only £30. the hotel was clean from reception to my room. the staff were generally helpful and friendly i would highly recommend it, as my room had great facilities.
the room was a bit too dark. it felt a bit like nighttime even during daylight hours. i would have appreciated brighter lighting for reading and packing, especially when trying to organise luggage.

The breakfast buffet included many scottish dishes. The quality of the food was very good. one evening, i had dinner. The steak was excellently cooked. wine pairings were well-chosen.

The rooms include air conditioning, which i needed . my room had complimentary tea. the bathroom had amenities. It was very functional. the bed was comfortable.

wi-fi signal was strong, however it seemed to operate only when the tv was on. a large tesco store is nearby, just across from the hotel. car parking is available.

the reception staff were very kind and accommodating. one member of staff offered helpful suggestions for local tourist activities. all staff members seemed happy in their work. i found them to be very attentive.

a bus stop to edinburgh is directly opposite the hotel. this made access to the city quite simple. the hotel is located near a famous village with three bridges. the location is near the airport.

The bar was also pretty nice with good drinks and service. I found the restaurant and lounge area quite comfortable.
The breakfast wasn't great. I noticed a lack of muesli, which I wanted. I think the coffee could be stronger because it tasted kind of weak.
