"Having stayed at this hotel several times before we knew we liked it and it's very easy to get into Edinburgh centre being just next to tram stop and conveniently opposite a supermarket and take away etc, we had a the pool to ourselves all times and were kindly upgraded to a suite free of charge and they popped some birthday bits in it for celebrating a special trip- still love this hotel"

Decent stay near the tram

The hotel has a great location near a tram or train stop. It made going to the city center quite easy. Parking was available. I paid a daily rate because I became a member. The reception staff helped me set up my membership.

The room's temperature control was faulty. I needed to open the window to keep the temperature comfortable. This resulted in too much noise because of the tram line. Breakfast standards have fallen. The buffet servery was never fully stocked.

The room was clean. The hotel is easy to reach from the trams.

I couldn't get anyone on the phone to order room service (maybe they were too busy). I went to the bar to order, and the burger buns were stale. the burger sauce tasted off, and the chips were cold. (I felt quite unwell afterwards).

The hotel is very close to the tram, only a short walk. I found on-site parking quite convenient. The restaurant staff were friendly. The bar was nice, and I also liked the shopping complex nearby.

I experienced difficulty reactivating my room cards. This happened every time I returned to the room at night. I found this inconvenient.

The hotel is near the tram stop and , made travel easy. I had no trouble getting to the city center. The room had a fridge. I found it useful for storing drinks.

The bar closed early . I arrived before the usual closing time but it was not open. Parking requires downloading an app. The app needed registration before payment could be made.

The reception staff demonstrated amazing customer focus. They held our luggage securely before check-in. This allowed us to explore without luggage, and they even booked a taxi! I found a complete set of toiletries in the room including a toothbrush. The room had an iron with ironing board.

I was surprised to see car parking cost extra each night despite the overall price of my stay.
