the staff were attentive and courteous i was looked after perfectly.

the breakfast was a disaster it had a pitiful yoghurt fruit salad with not a berry. it was bland and almost inedible. the owners of some of these old buildings seem to rely on their history to justify the price for their neglect.

I found lovely little extras in my room , made me smile I enjoyed the home-made biscuits and fresh milk I was amazed this hotel is dog-friendly without any tell-tale odors I must commend the cleaning team The grounds had a tennis court and a swimming pool I appreciated the ample parking.

The sash windows were challenging to open because of a wasp nest on the frame that was rotten

lovely gem of a hotel!

I really appreciated the little touches in the room. there were handmade biscuits and fresh fruit provided, a real treat. the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

the windows need replacing because i was unable to open them, it's a shame.
