Review summary
Based on recent reviews

Cleeve Hill Hotel is often praised for its location right on the Cotswold Way, with some rooms offering exceptional views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Guests frequently highlight the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and great en suites, along with the meticulous care evident throughout the beautifully restored home; however, some guests with pets have noted a lack of specific pet amenities. The lovely breakfast, featuring homemade options like granola, is another commonly appreciated aspect, and the honest Box Bar is often mentioned as a lovely touch.

Fantastic Stay with Amazing Views!

comfortable bedconservatory viewrelaxed atmosphere
The room was excellent! It had a great en suite. The bed was very comfortable, too. Breakfast was very good, and the conservatory view was great. I loved the local restaurant. Every requirement was met.
I asked for a packed lunch on short notice, and the owner made lovely cheese sandwiches. The owner worked very hard to host! Perhaps this was at the expense of a relaxed atmosphere.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast used tasty local ingredients. It was cooked with care. The homemade biscuits were delicious. Fresh milk was a bonus, and I loved the on-tap coffee and hot chocolate.
Service
10/10
The host is amazing! The staff is friendly. Lyndsey was very cute! They can't do enough. Practical things like a boot room and drying space for walkers are well-planned out.
Rooms
9/10
The rooms are nice and neat! The bed was changed during the week. Our ground floor twin room was blessed with fine views. The beds were supremely comfy, and the shower room was modern and clean.
