i found a great location. the double room was perfectly situated near key attractions AND offered easy access. the breakfast selection included delicious grilled kippers and other tasty options, which i enjoyed SO much. the pub downstairs added to the experience.
i noticed peeling plaster on the way to my bedroom. parking was a bit inconvenient because i needed to use the public car park. it was about 500 metres away.

the room was a decent size and offered a reasonable view to the rear of the hotel
the stairs leading to the rooms lacked proper maintenance the carpets were stained and the decor looked worn i also found controlling the shower temperature difficult it fluctuated frequently making it hard to find a comfortable setting
My room featured very clean bedclothes and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. The location of this hotel is excellent. All the staff were helpful.
The bathroom needs improvement. It looked a little dated.

The room REALLY needs some work. Peeling paint and worn carpets were quite visible. The taps were broken, FRUSTRATING. I expect more for the price i paid.
