charming stay

delicious kippers easy access

i found a great location. the double room was perfectly situated near key attractions AND offered easy access. the breakfast selection included delicious grilled kippers and other tasty options, which i enjoyed SO much. the pub downstairs added to the experience.

i noticed peeling plaster on the way to my bedroom. parking was a bit inconvenient because i needed to use the public car park. it was about 500 metres away.

the room was a decent size and offered a reasonable view to the rear of the hotel

the stairs leading to the rooms lacked proper maintenance the carpets were stained and the decor looked worn i also found controlling the shower temperature difficult it fluctuated frequently making it hard to find a comfortable setting

The food was acceptable.

The room REALLY needs some work. Peeling paint and worn carpets were quite visible. The taps were broken, FRUSTRATING. I expect more for the price i paid.

I have stayed there recently. the staff was helpful with directions! the room was clean and spacious. There was good shower pressure. the location is central. It is easy to walk to shops and attractions.

The music from the bar below was loud. It continued late into the night. It was disruptive.
