The breakfast was good with locally sourced options. The hotel provides free parking which i found convenient. I stayed in the aubrey room and it was beautifully decorated. The location gave great access to other towns.
My room sadly had no sound proofing. I could hear every single footstep in the room above me. This was especially noticeable at 6am when someone was running up and down the stairs. The loud music was overwhelming during the day and evening.

My room lacked air conditioning. the bathroom was rather small. i noticed some wear and tear on the furniture. A bit of refurbishment would be good.

The location is good. It is in the middle of the main street near the river. The team of staff seemed competent. They provided a warm welcome.
I found my room was smaller than expected. The bathroom was tiny with not much room. I had to be careful of wet paint.
