The Chesterton Hotel is frequently praised for its excellent location, particularly convenient for Bicester Village shoppers. Guests often highlight the beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel, including countryside gardens, and some have enjoyed rooms near a relaxing waterfall. The restaurant is a standout, known for its exquisite Indian cuisine, perfectly cooked salmon and steak, and a breakfast selection featuring scrumptious pastries and cooked-to-order options like poached eggs with hollandaise and a full English breakfast, though a few guests have found the food quality to be inconsistent with past experiences.

the room was excellent. the service was also good.
the bathroom lacked basin mixers. one tap leaked constantly. the shower only produced hot water. mould grew in areas around the shower. this was unacceptable given the price.

Really good Stay, High Standards Noted

generous roomcomfortable bedhigh-quality foodstaff presentation
The room size was generous and included comfortable beds. Furnishings and the shower were of high quality (i was particularly impressed by the attention to detail). Breakfast offered a substantial variety of very good quality food. Staff presentation and professionalism were evident from my arrival.
My only slight issue was the limited quantity of toiletries provided in relation to the overall cost.

the staff were friendly and helpful , offering assistance when needed.
the bathroom was disappointing , with only hot water available in the shower. there were also areas of mould around the shower , which was not pleasant. i think that basin mixers should be fitted and the leaking tap fixed.
