the location was good for my onward journey.

The room was quite basic, and the bathroom looked old. the mattress was a sprung type. I felt every move the other person made. accessing the abbey required a wet and muddy detour because the direct route was closed.

The building's architecture is very attractive! I also enjoyed the well-kept grounds. Breakfast offered many options. The staff was accommodating .

My room had thin pillows. the television was not working. I think the bathroom was pretty dated. I also noticed some mould in the shower.

the cooked breakfast had good quality hot food, a nice perk.

The parking wasn't great. It was muddy and rocky making it hard to manage wheeled suitcases. also, i wasn't told about christmas parties happening . that would have been nice to know.
