a romantic getaway
amazing staff uk sourcing delicious meal immaculate presentation
The staff were amazing. They helped me to feel so calm! i loved the gardens with tiramisu the cat. It felt so luxurious. the evening meal and breakfast were delicious. I appreciated the uk sourcing. the room was very lovely, carefully designed and immaculately presented.
dirty dishes were present near the reception. it impacted the first impression slightly, yet didn't spoil my overall experience.

a good stay overall

the room included a coffee machine and air conditioning. fresh milk was a lovely touch. the breakfast was excellent, and there was a good choice.
i found the fish and chips a bit too oily. the tables were left uncleared for long periods. there was sometimes no staff at the bar for serving.

limited menu weak wi-fi
I must admit i was a little disappointed with the food selection. The menu felt somewhat limited, and the dishes I tried lacked the flavorful punch I anticipated (nothing terrible, but nothing to write home about either). the Wi-Fi signal in my room was weak and intermittent. This made it difficult to get some work done in the evening. I needed a stable connection and ended up using my mobile data instead. it WAS frustrating.

noisy room missed breakfast
The room I had was noisy, it was right above the kitchen. I barely slept because of the noise coming from downstairs. The chef did not arrive for work, so I had to skip breakfast , which was very disappointing.
