staff greeted me warmly at reception, i got keys for my room. the double room had cozy decor, the lighting was gentle. breakfast provided various options like fresh fruits. a good cooked breakfast was also on the menu.

the bathroom was very small in the room.

the beautiful double room i booked was indeed spacious and well equipped as advertised. the 'olde worlde' feel of the hotel was really nice a welcome departure from typical modern hotel chains. the staff were all friendly and helpful from check in to check out. breakfast had a great selection and was delicious.

i noticed some cobwebs on a light fixture in the corridor but that was barely an issue

the function room was great (it was hired for a birthday). the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. the food was amazing, and all family members were impressed.

the mattress was very dipped and likely needs changing. the toilet moved around and felt unstable. the scrambled eggs were under cooked at breakfast, and there were no beans on the menu.

The staff provided a friendly welcome. my room was quiet and cool, great during a warm night. the full english breakfast was tasty and well-seasoned. parking was also excellent. There was plenty of space available.

the toiletries were somewhat limited, with only hair and body wash and small hand soap provided. it was a very minor inconvenience.

The function room was very accommodating. The staff were notably helpful and knowledgeable (Alicia and Tom stood out). All 35 family members were impressed with the venue. The food during the event received high praise from everyone.

The room required redecorating. I noticed some peeling paint and a level of cleanliness below expectations.
