Quaint Stay Near the Thames

warm greetingstylish decorattentive stafffabulous setting
The staff greeted us warmly and quickly arranged a taxi for us (so thoughtful of them). I appreciated the decor in our room. The color scheme was both restful and stylish. The next morning, a staff member remembered my son's rowing at the Henley Royal Regatta qualifiers. The pub setting was fabulous, and the staff were always attentive.
The cost of breakfast felt quite high relative to what was offered. The bread lacked freshness.
Location

The hotel enjoys a great location by the Thames, an area of excellent natural beauty. Many red kites flew overhead. Nearby gentle walks are available .
Rooms
8/10
The bedroom had a nice design with all necessities included. The beds feature comfortable pillows. The room provides tea and coffee. More milk pods would be ideal.
Service

The staff were friendly and cute. They provided really good service. The owner seemed very helpful too. They couldn't do enough to help us, really appreciated.
Facilities
8/10
The hotel features a pretty pub with recent refurbishment. There is a nice outside space available. Parking is plentiful on site. The beer garden looked large too.

Anniversary Celebration at a Wonderful Retreat

high standarddelicious foodlovely walkdog friendly room
We celebrated our special anniversary. The team. Our rooms were furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. The dinner menu offered ample choice and the food was freshly prepared and delicious.. We enjoyed drinks and BBQ in the pub garden. A short stroll took us to the River Thames and the start of a lovely walk.
We booked a beautiful king room but were moved to a courtyard room as we had a dog. The courtyard was actually a busy car park. Sound insulation between rooms wasn't enough, so we heard snoring from the room next door.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel has a charming pub garden where guests can enjoy drinks and a barbecue. There is also a convenient, good size car park located just in front of the building, providing easy access arriving by car.
Rooms
9/10
Our room featured a comfortable king size bed and beautiful decoration, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, and it was furnished to a high standard with modern amenities.
Location
10/10
The hotel boasts a beautiful location near a charming rural setting near the river. A short, ten minute stroll leads to the banks of the River Thames, offering a good walk along the scenic path.
