The White Hart, a former coaching inn in the centre of the historic town of Ampthill, is known for its fabulous location and unique character, including a wonderful wall painting dating from 1636. Guests frequently enjoy the huge full English breakfast, particularly when taken on the balcony overlooking the courtyard and former stables, now a lovely function room. The en-suite rooms often feature exposed beams and air conditioning, although some guests have noted noise issues. A Nespresso coffee machine is often considered a lovely bonus.

The breakfast included table service and a great choice of items. The staff during the evening and the next morning were nice. The location is well situated (i thought) and that was important to me.
I found dust on the fire hearth. Dust was present on all open clothes shelves. The bathroom needs paint to cover some flaking parts.
