“What strikes me is how this former coaching inn seems to balance countryside charm with real culinary ambition. I'm especially drawn to the idea of enjoying locally sourced dishes on that patio, taking in the Warwickshire views. It feels like a genuine escape, not just a place to stay.”

The Throckmorton is generally appreciated for its comfortable and clean bedrooms, often featuring excellent showers. Many guests enjoyed the good breakfast options and the convenience of on-site parking. Its location is ideal for visiting attractions like the National Trust property just opposite the hotel, or Sudbury Castle within a short drive; some guests have, however, noted noise from the nearby main road. nice breakfastclogged shower plugkitchen fans
The breakfast was really nice, I suppose it met my basic expectations.
The shower plug was clogged badly, and the shower nearly caused a flood. I cleaned out grime myself because I had no choice. Kitchen extraction fans are so close to the room window, it was not great when windows are open.
