The hotel location offered beautiful scenery. The cooked breakfast included a good choice, everything well prepared. i had two evening meals in the restaurant. The menu presented very good options. The food tasted beautifully cooked and presented.
i think the hotel lacked some basic facilities. The bedroom had NO air-conditioning, so the room felt very stuffy. The bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on since it felt too hard. These are very very slight points.

the breakfast tasted alright, and the staff seemed pretty efficient.
My room, a 'beautiful double room', felt cramped and overheated. The thermostat was broken. the bathroom lighting flickered so bad and there was only one small bar of soap. also, the walls are so thin. I heard every word from the room next door until late.

The location was indeed very convenient for my travel needs.
The room I was assigned was a serious letdown. It was far smaller than I anticipated given the room type. The noise from nearby events disrupted my sleep. The bathroom was not properly cleaned upon my arrival. Hairs were present in the shower and around the sink.

the sunday lunch i had was dreadful. the meat was overcooked and tasteless, and the veg was also tasteless. the starters were bland, not what i had hoped for. i think they try to cater for everyone but end up satisfying no one.
