The hotel staff was friendly. I appreciated the complimentary cake (a lovely surprise!). The breakfast had many choices, with both continental and full English options available. The nearby train station made trips into the city very convenient.
The nespresso machine in my room leaked. It was quite a mess, but thankfully nothing was damaged.

I had a meal at the anchor restaurant. The staff were great. msgana greeted us with a warm smile and made sure we had everything we needed. the pool was pleasant (i especially liked relaxing there). the breakfast was good, with a wide selection of food.
