a decent stay overall

well equipped roomspacious roomfriendly staffodd placementrude waitressextra charge
i found the room quite spacious and well equipped. the location was also convenient for my travel plans. the staff were friendly i noted.
the light switch placement was odd i think. it was located at the far end of the room. the breakfast waitress seemed a bit rude she just put our plates down without much care. there was an extra charge for using the swimming pool.

underwhelming stay, some issues needs address

loud musicrude receptionist
the lack of clear information when a wedding impacted the noise levels was frustrating. i was put in a room right above it and i could hear loud music. the initial receptionist wasnt helpful at all, she said there werent other rooms. this changed only when another receptionist found a quieter room after i complained more forcefully. i find the initial rudeness and misinformation unacceptable.

Good stay

clean roomfriendly teamfirm bed
The room was clean and well-kept. The reception team was friendly. They changed my room to a ground floor, and this was very helpful. The location is great.
The bed was very firm, and the pillows too. I did not get a good night's sleep at all. I feel bruised this morning.
Location
9/10
The location is excellent as it is a stop over and allows continuation of my journey in the morning. It is very close to the motorway, easy to find after a long drive. I will come again.
Dining
8/10
I did not use the restaurant. There is a bar in the hotel. The barman had excellent service skills and looked after the whole bar and restaurant area. I was pleased with the service.
