the room was clean and of decent size. the staff were very friendly indeed. i appreciated that the location is about 15 minutes walk to the haram.

the hotel was clean and also provided wifi in addition to complimentary tea, water, and soap.
security staff displayed unprofessional behavior. they refused entry to a friend without explanation. i needed to go downstairs to meet him, a frustrating situation. the guards were impolite and unhelpful during this situation.

The room had enough space. the cleaning service occurred daily. I found that helpful. the staff helped me get a taxi very quickly. i had a smooth experience getting around.
The parking situation was not ideal. i had to pay extra. This caught me off guard. it was not communicated beforehand.

The hotel is a short walk to the masjid al-haram. This made prayers easy. the anjum hotel carpark provides a convenient access point. i could even see al-haram from my window!!!
