a tender escape near gatwick

early breakfast modern bathroom great shower

the hotel is near gatwick. the early breakfast starts at 4 am. it was helpful because my flight was early. the bathroom felt modern. i really liked the great shower it had. the surprises i got here were positive.

i did notice bin bags piled on the patio, near to the entrance, it seemed untidy. it's just a minor thing. however, it somewhat affected my first impression.

The breakfast service was ok. It had all the basics.

Honestly, the room was not great. the shower didn't drain properly, and neither did the sink. It was pretty gross.

The staff were very helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in process. I really appreciated the convenient shuttle service to the airport for only £10. It saved a lot of stress early in the morning. The restaurant on site had a great menu with a 15% discount (i liked the Indian options).

The pillows were not the most comfortable. They felt a little old and too firm.

convenient staff early ride three bedrooms canceled flight

i needed a hotel close to gatwick due to a canceled flight, and this place worked well. i was surprised they had three bedrooms available on such short notice. the staff booked a ride to the airport for my group early in the morning, helpful. i found the staff very friendly and cute.

the room was a bit too hot until i figured out how to adjust the radiator. the curtains were thin, and i noticed some noise from the nearby road. it didn't affect my sleep though

shuttle service issues and cramped quarters

poor shuttle service tiny room

the shuttle service back to the hotel was a complete joke. i was told the driver was sleeping and wouldn't bother coming to get me. i ended up having to walk halfway across the airport and pay extra for a taxi. the room itself was tiny with a low ceiling. it barely met basic requirements.

small room steep stairs

The room was pretty small, not gonna lie. I also noticed the breakfast options were kinda limited. I wanted something hot, but there wasn't much available, so I was a bit disappointed. I guess I expected more from a place advertising itself as 4 stars! The stairs were so steep, really hard to manage with bags. No lift at all.
