the rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable i had no issues getting towels for the pool. i called to ask if i could get a package delivered the staff took it in with no issues. the staff was helpful especially with young children

The location is ideal. It overlooks a race course. the room provided was large. lovely toiletries were available for use (i especially liked the shower gel).
the pool changing rooms needed some attention, as used towels from the previous day remained there on sunday morning.

The rooms had a kind of, i don't know, bland feel. the bathroom wasn't great. The showerhead was small and the glass screen was annoying. the tv remote barely worked, and the stand looked scratched. it seemed like paying a lot for something that should be better.

The surroundings were very nice. I appreciated the lovely outlook over the race course. Parking was easy. The waitress provided super service.
The entrance to the hotel was not lit. I could not see it from the main road when I arrived. The entrance road was also not lit, this made navigating into the car park challenging. The hotel looked tired. I saw lots of scuffed walls.

my room had a very good view and felt spacious. breakfast had a wide choice of options and the food was hot. the bed was very comfortable, i slept well.
the jacuzzi was shut again and it was too hot for use. i saw children in it even if they weren't allowed. halfway through getting dressed in the changing rooms, a cleaner walked in without knocking and there was no sign displayed.
