Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Best Western Valley Hotel is frequently praised for its location, offering excellent views across the Severn valley, with the Ironbridge Gorge and museums within easy reach. Many guests appreciate the well-appointed, clean rooms, though some have found the temperature difficult to regulate, with rooms occasionally feeling too warm. The restaurant stands out for its uniquely different cuisine and amazing value, while the breakfast quality varies depending on whether it's cooked to order or from the warmer. The easy walk down to the river is another highlight for many.

Acceptable stay

helpful staffaccommodating stafffantastic foodold furniturepoor soundproofingdifficult window
The staff were very helpful and accommodating upon arrival. I stayed in January, so the warm room was welcome. The restaurant food was fantastic (I especially enjoyed the steak).
My room had furniture that seemed a bit old. The window was hard to see out of, a slight disappointment. Soundproofing was lacking. I could hear noises through the walls.
