i was given a room with a riverside view. the evening meal was excellent, and the staff were helpful.
i think some furniture showed signs of wear. the furniture seemed old, shabby, and included some cheap new items.

Acceptable Stay, But Issues Noted

basic facilities hot room
The location of the hotel was acceptable with proximity to the river.
I was annoyed to find the tea and coffee facilities were quite basic. I expect more than instant sachets in a place like this. The room was far too hot and there were no windows I could open for ventilation. This meant I couldn't sleep well despite the fan provided. It just made noise instead of cooling the room.

decent location, some issues

constant noise no privacy
the room felt a bit stuffy, mostly because there weren't proper windows. it had a door to the bar garden, so people walked past constantly. the lack of privacy, (it really bothered me) and the noise from the fans we needed to use made it hard to sleep.
