mixed feelings about service and some facilities

musty smellsecurity issue

i found some problems . the safe in the second room had the same passcode as all other rooms, a serious security issue. wasps were also in the room. the shower water covered the whole bathroom floor. the staff seemed uninterested in addressing these problems, for instance requesting extra towels was met with resistance.

the personnel behaved with extreme courtesy. i booked a car to airport, driver was punctual. i found the rooms clean and well maintained. the rooftop restaurant served tasty meals.

i did experience a bit of noise from the street at times. this was because it's central location.

the location was quite close to the main attractions and the main train station, i guess.

The front desk service wasn't great. My request for hand towels and tea refills was ignored the first day. topping up the wash basin soap never happened, even on the last day. also, they tried to sell me a fancy, expensive tour. i booked a three-day tour in agra and jaipur, but the car was old and dirty. they promised a guide for the taj mahal, included in the price, but it wasn't available. it was a bit of a scam.

i almost cancelled cause the road there is bad, but inside its great. the staff is very polite. everyone from the security to the chef were nice. i had beer on the roof top, and mr vishnu made supper for us. if you read this, go and ask for vishnu.

the room was a to small. there was a window in a small inside place. it get light at night from other guests, and i woke up.
