The hotel room was well kept. The bed in the room was comfortable. The hotel also provided homemade shortbread, a nice touch with our coffee (I really liked that!). The breakfast had various options including smoked salmon.
The bar seemed quite small when I arrived for a pre-dinner drink.

The staff offered assistance with luggage, very helpful since there is no lift. The service in the restaurant was efficient. Our server, Grace, was particularly helpful. I found the team genuinely attentive to guests.

The location is on the edge of the village and offers wonderful views. The hotel is adjacent to a public footpath (great for walks!). The hotel grounds include lovely gardens.

The room included two chairs. We could sit comfortably for coffee. The room faced the rear of the hotel and overlooked the valley. The hotel provided a 'Nespresso' machine with a limited range of coffees.

Dinner was really lovely. The onion rings were the best. The restaurant requests guests dress for dinner. I enjoyed the dress code, a unique touch not often seen these days.

We stayed in a lovely room that featured cozy chairs and provided a spot for coffee without using the bed. Homemade shortbread was delicious and served with coffee. Dinner included the nicest onion rings and my husband said his steak was perfect. Breakfast included yoghurt, fruit, pastries, and a full English option.
The room got a little warm at night even after we turned off the heating.

The staff was attentive and friendly. They were really good too make my wife's birthday special, which we appreciated very much, and provided very efficient service. Special thanks to Jody and Georgia, who were great, and really pulled out all the stops-

The hotel's location was amazing, situated in a beautiful part of the area. Ample parking was available . The hotel offered both a restaurant menu and a bar menu in the lounge area, with a fire adding to the ambiance.

Our room was super clean. It included a large, comfortable bed and the bathroom was well equipped. The room was ample for two people, despite being one of the smallest. We enjoyed a good night's sleep in ages.

The room was super clean, and the staff proved very friendly and helpful, i appreciate that. I spent a lovely afternoon in the bar. The food in the restaurant was superb. staff served drinks in the garden overlooking the fine views. It was a magical day.

The hotel benefits from its location in a scenic area. The short walk to the station and the spout are pleasant extras. The option for walking and driving on the moors is wonderful. And you can easily plan trips to local towns.

This hotel offers cosy public lounges with wood burners, so they are very cute. There are also nice places to sit in the pub bars. The breakfast was excellent in the more formal dining room, and the evening meals were very good with bar meal options.

The restaurant provided great food and service. I enjoyed the beautiful gardens with views over the open countryside. The staff were very PLEASANT and helpful.
I found no lift available to assist with carrying bags. The bar was quite small and cramped. The floorboards creaked SOMEWHAT, noticeable.
