The staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel was comfortable. I also found the restaurant very good and the staff were friendly and efficient. I particularly enjoyed the Christmas lunch. The main course tasted very good, followed by homemade Christmas pudding and Petit Fours with coffee.
My room was small. It had very little natural light, due to the fact that it looked out onto another wall. I couldn't even see the sky, it felt oppressive. The breakfast was not good. The hash brown and black pudding looked like it had been fried for an hour and was inedible.

friendly staff lovely seating amazing breakfast
The staff was very friendly. helpful. The garden got lovely seating areas. I spent several hours there, even with visits to the bar in-between. The breakfast was also amazing, and I do not ask for any more. I did love the views from my room.

The hotel includes a huge garden area. The seating arrangement is excellent for relaxation. The bar offers a wide range of cocktails. It has the largest collection in the area and serves afternoon tea.

The hotel offers a large garden with several seating areas. I spent three hours enjoying the bar service. The room had a great power shower and an comfortable bed.
The downstairs corridor had a slight unpleasant odor. The patterns were too much.
