I appreciated the very cute and friendly reception staff. The bed proved quite comfy, matched by great pillows. The hotel's location is definitely advantageous, with access to key areas.

I noticed a slight issue with the bathroom mirrorwith some chrome flaking off.

the room was newly painted and bright. the heating was easily controlled. plenty of hot water was available and the shower pressure was good. the towels provided were a good size, soft and fluffy. i found the roads around the area to be great for travelling, made getting around simple, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is under poor maintenance and needs refurbishing, especially the toilets. The carpets are too old.

The pub next door is an asset and offers good food at reasonable prices. This provided a convenient option for meals! the breakfast to-go offer included enough choices to satisfy, and a few coffee-shop-style tables were available for eating.

i noticed the carpets could use some updating. it was a very slight detail though, and did not impact my overall stay.

The staff was lovely and helpful. The man cute us was kind and chatty. He was very helpful when I couldn't work the heating. The restaurant next door was handy.

We were provided with three towels and three cups upon arrival for a family room booked for four people. I noticed there were no electrical sockets near either the main or single beds. The bathroom is very tired with gaps around the bath panel.
