the room, a superior double room, was clean and bright. the food i ate was really good. the staff was friendly and always helpful. facilities were very good, with all needs catered for.

finding my way to the spa upon arrival posed a minor challenge as there was a lack of clear signs directing guests to the facilities.

my superior double room included a dolce gusto coffee maker, tea, coffee, bottled water, and biscuits, all available in the room. the bed was comfortable and provided an excellent night's rest. the room provided good relaxation.

The room was spacious and clean. The location was also convenient for touring in North Yorkshire. The hotel is dog friendly.

I noticed that the floor tiles in the bathroom could cause injury. I was also surprised to see Welsh bottled water and not a Yorkshire brand, though the facilities were excellent.
