Mixed Stay due to Room Issues and Additional Costs

I booked a rate with breakfast included, yet I discovered any hot breakfast was an additional charge. The small room I received was on the 3rd floor. The shower had inconsistent hot water. They said too many people were showering at the same time.

the staff were perfect. whatever you needed, they were there to help! the hotel has a lovely garden area off the main bar area, perfect to relax in. the library is a nice touch too, with mystery wrapped books and a nice selection on the shelves.
the check in seemed to take a prolonged period of time. i was short on time and there was lots of silence and tapping at the computer, not ideal. the room cost over £350 for one night.

My room was on the top floor. Carrying luggage up so many flights of stairs was not fun. Breakfast felt basic. Hot options cost extra. The room was also quite small and felt stuffy.
