mixed feelings about the experience

poor sound insulation limited restaurant options

the location was scenic.

The room i was assigned lacked a tv and a proper shower. This was quite disappointing given the cost. additionally, sound insulation was poor, and i could hear noises from other rooms. the restaurant offered only a three-course meal, with no alternative options available.

Wonderful Scottish Hotel Experience!

gorgeous decor cozy bar

The decor is gorgeous I seemed like I was in an Agatha Christie novel. The lobby restaurant and bar are super cozy and the beds are perfect I slept so well! The staff is friendly and very professional.

I noticed the hotel seems to mostly cater to a particular clientele. It's more older affluent regulars so if you're not part of that group you may be ignored

The hotel features multiple lounges, each with comfortable seating. i found ample parking directly beside the building. my room included a large soaking tub that was very relaxing. Breakfast offered many good options.

i noticed some sounds carried easily between rooms, though it was only a slight disturbance.

i found the room a good size. it was also spotlessly clean. i found the staff very friendly and helpful. the location is amazing, though the parking was expensive!

i expected more for the price i paid. it reminded me of a fishing lodge. i noticed many stuffed fish in display cabinets.

The staff provided professional, friendly service. The hotel boasts tasteful decor, imaginative menus, and excellently presented food. I will certainly be back. Nicki's reception and assistance were helpful. The bar created a great atmosphere. I found it very enjoyable.
