Hotel Arctic, Ilulissat

Hotel Arctic is situated on the shores of the Ilulissat Icefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This location offers proximity to one of the largest and most active glaciers globally, moving forward by approximately 40 metres a day. The hotel serves as a gateway to various adventures, including whale safaris and dog sledding.

The hotel features 90 rooms across three distinct wings: Puisi, Qajaq, and Umiaq. Options include Standard, Superior, Junior Suites, and Outdoor Rooms, each offering views of the Icefjord or Disko Bay. The Outdoor Rooms come with a private terrace and panoramic windows for a fully immersive experience.

Brasserie Ulo offers a menu boasting Greenlandic products while Arctic Fine Dining & Wine Bar serves gourmet meals inspired by local cooking traditions. From June to August, guests can enjoy the Greenlandic buffet featuring hot and cold dishes, alongside a Greenlandic barbeque. Seasonal menus are crafted to showcase the best local ingredients, ensuring a unique culinary experience.

The hotel is equipped with a five-star conference centre, making it one of the leading venues in the Nordic region. The Greenland Room is the primary assembly area, accommodating up to 120 participants and offering scenic views of the Icefjord. Six additional meeting rooms and flexible plans ensure tailored options for business needs.

The hotel provides a range of activities, including boat trips on the Icefjord and helicopter tours over the glacier. Guests can participate in seasonal experiences such as whale safaris and hiking in the breathtaking Arctic landscape.
