Sands Beach Resort offers several dining options, including La Hacienda Restaurant, which features a breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10:30 and a dinner buffet from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (Daylight saving time is from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.). The Mai Tai Pool Bar and Restaurant, located on the private beach, offers a relaxed atmosphere with a varied menu, including children's options, open from 10:30 until 21:30. Breakfast is available from 10:30, lunch from noon to 3:00 p.m., and dinner from 7:00 p.m. to 21:30 p.m. Lido Terrace offers sea breezes, fresh drinks, and lunch. Soleil Bar is open from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., located in the main building near reception, with televised sporting events, pool tables, a reading corner, and game screens. A mini disco for children and shows for adults are also available.
Leisure and Activities
Sands Beach Resort features a private beach, 6 swimming pools distributed in each plaza, plus a seventh pool on Mai Tai Island. The resort provides a 25-meter heated pool, a fully equipped gym, and two stretching rooms. Guests can rent rackets for the tennis court. Water activities, such as SUP and kayaking, are available on the private beach. Children's activities include a playground and Buddy's Club, open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for ages 4 to 12. The resort also offers the Sailfish Lanzarote Open Water swimming event in May at Playa Grande. The Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo of Lanzarote are nearby.
