Excellent Stay in Historic Building

hot breakfastgood selectionshort walkadequate comfort
The traditional hot breakfast was a great start to the day. I particularly enjoyed the porridge. I had dinner in the Reid Room. It had a good selection. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the train station. The room was satisfactory, and the bed provided adequate comfort.
I found it challenging to adjust the water temperature in the shower.
Rooms
8/10
The room was clean and quiet with bright natural light. A giant bed offered restful sleep. Many windows added to the room's appeal. The staff were efficient.

The breakfast buffet featured a large selection and was well-stocked. I appreciated the traditional hot breakfast options. The dining room had beautiful decor.
Location

The receptionist was polite, helpful, and cute:. This was a great first impression. Colin in Reids Bar provided really good service, always serving with a smile. I would book again, if given the chance.
