I found the building very beautiful! it has origins dating back to the 1300s. the location was excellent. I could easily walk everywhere. the staff helped. They were consistently friendly and helpful. i also appreciated the very good breakfast. It set me up well each day.

the hotel location was central. i found it easy to walk to many places. the building had lovely history. the staff was helpful when i asked for things. i got a superior double room and it was big.
the on-site parking cost an extra amount per day. the spaces felt narrow. i had to take care to not scratch the car next to me. the gate did gave me peace of mind, however.

lack of cleanupunbearable temperature
the temperature in my room was unbearable. there was no air conditioning. i asked for a fan, but i was told the building was listed and air conditioning was not possible. the receptionist did find a fan after my wife complained, but it should have been offered without us needing to ask. also, there was a party the night i arrived and the area was not cleaned up. there were flies, bottles, cigarette butts, glasses, and food left out for days after.
