“The May Fair's ground floor makes a strong impression; upstairs, however, some rooms fall short, with uncomfortable mattresses and cleanliness issues reported. The location is superb, and the building has undergone renovations, but the execution seems uneven, with some guests finding the updates cheap-feeling. Overall, there seems to be a disconnect between the hotel's aspirations and some guests' experiences.”
