the room was super clean, spacious, and the shower was great. i was able to control the heating and open windows. the wifi worked well, too. the location was perfect, and i visited the spode visitors centre next door.
there was no hot water to the "kitchen" sink. the kitchen was woefully under equipped. there was only one pan available, i was surprised by this.

I noted the absence of a luggage lift for upper floors. This omission caused considerable difficulty with heavy luggage. The room lighting was poor making it hard to work.

The staff were consistently polite and attentive, offering a friendly welcome. I appreciated the microwave and fridge in the room. These additions. The hotel's proximity to the station made travel easy.
The blinds in the room did not effectively block out the light. This design flaw allowed significant light to enter from the car park. I found this disruptive.
