Alpine Hotel Perren features over 70 light-filled rooms: single, double, and triple rooms in Deluxe, Comfort, and Basic categories. Accommodations range from 18m² to 110m², including the Matterhorn Suite and Castor & Pollux holiday flats. Many rooms have views of the alpine mountains. Deluxe double rooms (29m²) include a sitting area with an extendable couch. The Matterhorn Suite (52m²) offers a south-facing balcony with Matterhorn views and an extendable couch. Castor and Pollux holiday flats (110m²) provide Matterhorn views, south-facing balconies, two double rooms, one single room, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining area, and a kitchen. All rooms include: LCD cable TV, a pull-out sofa bed, a safe, and a private bathroom. Selected rooms are designed for dogs and their owners, with food from BIG PET, biodegradable dog bags, and walking routes included.
Wine & Dine
The hotel has the Alpine Brasserie La Barrique, which features French-influenced cuisine with alpine and local products, including cheese, meat, and fish. The menu offers French dishes and traditional classics with a modern twist. There is an extensive wine list with selections from the Valais region and neighboring countries. The Q-Stall-Bar offers wines, cocktails, draft beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. A fondue is served in gondolas of the Zermatt mountain railroads. An Honesty Bar is available 24/7.
Leisure and wellness
The Zermatt Forest Fun Park includes zip lines, suspension bridges, and challenges at the foot of the Matterhorn. The Zermatt Erlebniswelt activity centre offers bike park with stamina, coordination, and strength training. There is a 9-hole golf course with views of the Breithorn and Klein Matterhorn mountains. The wellness area (70 square meters) includes saunas and a relaxation room. Guests have access to fitness rooms from 6 AM to 10 PM. Massages are available, including Classic, Hot Stone, and Sports massages.
Location & Transport
Alpine Hotel Perren is in a central and quiet part of Zermatt, a 10-minute walk from Zermatt. The Sunnegga-Rothorn valley station is two minutes away on foot, and Zermatt train station and the village center are five minutes away on foot. The hotel is 85 km from Sion. Zermatt can be reached by train from Zurich (3.5 hours) and Geneva (4 hours). The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station. For guests arriving by car, parking is available in Täsch, 5 km before Zermatt, with train service to Zermatt every 20 minutes. Taxi Christophe provides transfer services from Täsch.
