Monte Rosa open suites (40-55m²) feature views of the Zermatt mountain world, an open-plan bedroom and lounge, and 2 bathrooms. Whymper suite on the 6th floor (approx. 75m²) has a bedroom, lounge, bathroom, separate toilet, large balcony, and Zermatt mountain views. The Belle-Époque restaurant, decorated with stucco ceilings, crystal chandeliers, historic paintings, and velvet chairs, serves meals for breakfast, public holidays, and banquets. Hotel Monte Rosa guests can enjoy the Forest Fun Park, an adventure park with five zip lines and tree-top obstacles. During the summer, guests can see the black-nosed Valais sheep during walks in the Gornergrat region and the Matterhorn reflected in the waters of the Riffelsee. Guests have free access to the spa area and swimming pools of the 5-star hotel Mont Cervin, 500 metres away. The Spa Nescens at the Mont Cervin Palace cover an area of 1700 m2.
Location and Access
Monte Rosa Boutique Hotel is in Zermatt, 80 km from Sion Airport. The hotel is near the Gornergrat, Valley station Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, and Valley station Sunnegga-Rothorn. Nearby attractions include the Matterhorn Museum, Stellisee, and Glacier Palace. Zermatt has its own Heliport, which is run by the company Air Zermatt. Zermatt Main Station can be reached by train from Brig and Visp. The road from Täsch to Zermatt is not open to private transport.
