“This family-run establishment has clearly honed its hospitality over half a century, now welcoming pets and offering high-quality dining with regularly updated menus; proximity to Thurso Beach and public transport makes it an ideal base for exploring the North Coast. While some aspects of service might need refinement, the spacious, clean rooms and convenient location make it a worthwhile option. It is my opinion that the hotel excels as a base for exploration, but dining might be better enjoyed elsewhere.”
