The hotel exudes a unique charm. I liked the cozy lounges with inviting fireplaces. the stag roaming the yard was a good surprise. It certainly enhanced the country setting. our room featured beautiful decor, heated floors in the bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff.
the notice about ringing for assistance upon arrival didn't work, and it seemed this had been the case for a while? it was a minor inconvenience, but a working bell would have been appreciated.
