The Altnaharra Hotel has 14 bedrooms with private bathrooms. Each is designed in a traditional Scottish style. Most rooms offer views of the loch and highlands. One cottage has two twin bedrooms, and the other has one double and one twin room (convertible to a double if needed). Cottages include fitted kitchens with a fridge, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, crockery, and cookware. Cottage guests can access the hotel bar and restaurant.

The hotel restaurant features A la Carte dining with locally sourced ingredients, changing daily. An excellent wine selection is available. A lighter bar menu is offered in the bar area for snacks and light lunches. Packed lunches are available upon request.
